Based on feedback from users, there are differences in spray result depending on the hood being used to place the device in. A major factor is the flow of air over the sample, leading to fast dehydration. Test in our lab showed that this can overcome by closing the sides and back of the sprayer, preventing excessive airflow through the system.
You may use a material of your choice (cardboard, plastic, aluminum…) to close the 3 sides and test the results. Please report back to this forum if you have an solution which works well for you. We are currently working on an upgrade kit made out acrylic sheets which will be available shortly. While cardboard works, we thing that acrylic would add to the good looks of the device 😉
